A Little About Me

I grew up in a small town in the San Joaquin Valley of California, surrounded by natural beauty and grounded by the simplicity of a close-knit community. Over the years, I built a series of successful careers—as a court reporter, a real estate agent, and an events coordinator at a boutique hotel. While I excelled in each of these roles, I always felt a sense of longing, a quiet knowing that these weren’t my true calling.

So, I searched. I read countless books on careers, took every personality and self-awareness test I could find, and explored every avenue I thought might lead me to fulfillment. Yet, my purpose remained elusive. Then, in 2019, everything shifted. The lightbulb finally went off, and I realized my true path and purpose.

Here’s how I got there. My journey toward health and wellness began when my children were born. I believed deeply in the power of preventative care rather than reactive healthcare—it just made sense to me. I committed myself to giving my kids the healthiest start possible. I bought “organic” everything, read labels, studied optimal nutrition, and focused on keeping them happy and healthy. For many years, I was successful in doing just that. But in the fall of 2001, my world changed forever.

In October of that year, my 18-month-old son was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Our lives were turned upside down. The pain and helplessness were beyond words. To cope, I became his advocate. I was determined to save him alongside his team of doctors and surgeons. I threw myself into research, studying everything from neuroscience and nutrition to the effects of the environment on our health. It became all-consuming. For the next two years, we lived in and out of UCLA, enduring eight brain surgeries and countless procedures.

It wasn’t just my son who suffered. My other children struggled alongside us, their lives turned upside down as they worried about their brother. It was a daily nightmare, and in 2004, shortly after his fourth birthday, our little boy lost his battle with cancer. The grief was unbearable, and it’s impossible to explain what that kind of loss feels like.

I was shattered. My mental and emotional health were in turmoil. For my other children, I forced myself to carry on, putting on a happy face despite being a shell of my former self. It took a full year of therapy and grief counseling to even begin to feel like myself again. During that time, I made a promise: I would honor my son’s life by finding meaning in his suffering. That promise became my driving force.

Over the next 15+ years, I dedicated myself to learning, growing, and healing—not just for me, but for the people I knew I could one day help. I read everything I could get my hands on, often revisiting books that deeply impacted me. I immersed myself in the science of healing, studying epigenetics, quantum physics, mindfulness, and meditation. I attended seminars and retreats and pursued certifications in Mindfulness from the UCSD School of Mindfulness and Life Coaching through the Mindvalley Institute.

Through this journey, I discovered my true calling: to help others, particularly women, learn to love themselves fully and live a life filled with passion and purpose. Today, I am a motivational speaker, a cheerleader, and a guide for anyone seeking inspiration and motivation to create the life of their dreams.

If you’re reading this, I want you to know that it’s never too late to find your purpose, heal your heart, and step into the life you’ve always imagined. My story is proof that even in the darkest moments, there is hope, growth, and a chance to discover your true self.

Peace & Love,
